Surround Panning Tool
 Imagine a herd of cows driven by a handful of cowboys. Imagine the sound is so real that you can almost smell the dust being raised. Now this is not merely a dream anymore. z.matrix, the surround-panning-tool for SONIC CORE DSP systems, opens up a new dimension of sound design to your event- and theater-productions.
z.matrix enables you to flexibly pan up to 16 sound sources between up to 16 loudspeakers - live or in the studio. Sources as well as loudspeakers can be freely positioned and moved. This can be done by mouse or - with any given sequencer or controller - via MIDI. In addition to many other features, z.matrix also offers a grouping function, a doppler-effect and distance dependent volume automation.

 Thanks to a new, patented physical modelling technique, Six-String produces string instrument sounds with a degree of realism unparalleled by any previous algorithm. Great for acoustic and electric guitars and basses, but also for harps, sitars, dulcimers… and the sounds of hitherto unknown instruments.
Because the Six-String is not based on static samples, but a real time model of a genuine string, there are a multitude of possibilities for sonic control. Simply select from among different string types (steel, nylon, bass...) and the position and type of string excitation. Adjust two virtual pickups, or select from various body profiles, and much more. And thanks to its effects section, including a guitar amp with vacuum tube simulation, you'll really get the Six-String rocking and rolling!
