 Recording, Mixing and Mastering
Use your SONIC CORE system for recording, mixing, and mastering - just like a flexible powerful digital mixer with real-time DSP plug-ins and other quality features. You can control the overall setup and/or hard-disk recording simply from your familiar audio/MIDI sequencer with all its extra functionality. Dedicated mastering plug-ins provide for a powerful transparent sound.
Synthesizer and Sampler
The SONIC CORE PLATFORM offers you an amazing variety of synthesizers ranging from basic to highly complex modular systems based on a multitude of synthesis methods including analog, FM, and wavetable synthesis etc. Our optional latest-generation synthesizers including the Minimax, the B2003, and the Prodyssey, produce perfect emulations of the originals. The synthesizers as well as the flexible samplers of the SCOPE platform have the quick response of a hardware unit, thus providing perfect timing. Try and play the SCOPE plug-ins - they feel like solid hardware!

Whatever your application, a SONIC CORE system will enhance your existing equipment with exceptional components - for your individual ultimate sound. Already the sound of the SONIC CORE PLATFORM is reason enough to get one; using the plug-ins can catapult your productions into the big league. At the same time, you can still use all your native software and external hardware components. Thanks to its real time engine, SCOPE even interconnects native software and your “outside-world” audio equipment. The integrative concept of SCOPE always means added value for you. SCOPE is fully expandible. DSP power, I/Os, and software can all be updated thanks to the modular structure - even monster configurations comprising as much as 42 DSPs and more than 100 inputs and outputs can be implemented. If you want a faster computer, you have to buy a new one; if you want a faster SCOPE, just boost it!
 The considerable DSP power of the platform itself allows for implementing only sophisticated top-notch algorithms, we have always focused on quality. For example, the synthesizers on our platform rarely provide extensive polyphony but the sound just blows right into your face. There is, however, one more technological motive: The employed SHARC DSP was specifically designed to perform high-resolution audio processing. It always processes the audio with a 32-bit resolution, and algorithms and parameters are computed with a floating-point resolution of even 40 bits. If there are no such powerful structures at hand, programmers will have to make compromises regarding the resolution (accuracy) again and again for performance purposes; so the weakest link in the processing chain will often determine the sound. With SHARCs, however, you never have to compromise: the highest resolution is maintained during the entire process without affecting the performance. You can hear it in the results.
